REMIERE RADIO NETWORKS PARTNERS WITH CITY OF HOPE TO LAUNCH THE PINK CHANNEL, Andrea Evans to host the week of August 25

Celebrities including Andrea Evans, Jordin Sparks, Olivia Newton-John to serve as celebrity hosts for first radio channel dedicated to cancers affecting women.

Premiere Radio Networks and City of Hope, one of the nation's leading cancer research, treatment and education centers, today announced the launch of The Pink Channel, the first radio channel supporting the fight against cancers, particularly those that affect women. Airing 24/7 on XM Satellite Radio channel 24, The Pink Channel will feature pop hits from the 70s, 80s and 90s as well as segments on health and wellness, personal development, trend reports and more. In addition, a weekly celebrity host will report on City of Hope's latest cancer research and treatment programs, share personal stories and read listener dedications. Actress Andrea Evans of One Life to Live (who will host programming the week f August 25th), American Idol Jordin Sparks, Grammy-winner Olivia Newton-John, The Biggest Loser's Jillian Michaels, and singer P!nk, among others, are slated to serve as upcoming weekly hosts.

City of Hope will provide programming segments on research and treatment breakthroughs, Q&A segments with their world-class physicians and tools for how to cope when a friend or loved one is diagnosed with cancer. Segments will also include tips on lifestyle choices that can help listeners safeguard their health and reduce their risk of cancer. Cancer survivors will share their personal stories to inspire and motivate listeners.

City of Hope will receive a portion of advertising and online retail sales revenue, as well as 100% of listener donations collected through the channel's website, www.pinkchannelradio.com. The site will also feature extended content, licensed apparel and other merchandise.

This year, more than 1.4 million Americans will be diagnosed with cancer, according to the American Cancer Society. More than 182,000 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer and more than 40,000 will be diagnosed with uterine cancer.
